ACT, an international initiative with local implementations

ACT provides sectoral methodologies as an accountability framework to drive corporate climate actions and align their strategies with relevant and ambitious low-carbon pathways.

ACT is an international initiative engaging with organisations globally to support setting up local ecosystems. Contact us if you are interested in setting up and leading an ACT ecosystem in your country.

The first ACT local program was set up in 2018 by ADEME, the French Agency for Ecological Transition and ACT cofounder. It is the most advanced program to date with a multi-stakeholders governance comittee and various projects to support French companies’ transition planning.

The French Voluntary Program

The aim of the French volunteer program is to roll out the ACT system in France and provide financial support to volunteer companies. This is part of the international ACT initiative and the European AENETA project (co-funded by the EIT Climate KIC network).
