Step 1: Discover the ACT methodology step by step
ACT Step by Step provides tools and follows a precise methodology. This provides a framework for developing a relevant climate strategy.
Requirements
Have drawn up a greenhouse gas emissions report (BEGES) less than 2 years old, including scope 1, 2 and 3.
ACT Step by Step, support in 5 key stages
ACT Step by Step is aimed at organisations that do not yet have a climate strategy, enabling them to develop this strategy and an associated transition plan. This support generally represents 20 to 30 man-days from a consultant over a period of 12 to 18 months. For the in-company coordinator, it’s around ten man-days over the same period.

Performance Carbone consists of 9 modules:
Reduction objectives, tangible investments, intangible investments, product performance, management, supplier commitments, customer commitments, public commitments and the business model.
Step 2: Learn ACT Step by Step
You will need training to begin the ACT adventure.
Animated training sessions are available to train you in ACT methodologies (currently distance learning).

Step 3: Find an ACT Step by Step consultant
Find the ideal consultant for your company, near you :
Step 4: Find financing
We finance between 60% and 80% of the support, up to a maximum of €18,000.
For the company, the remaining cost is generally between €3k and €9k for support lasting more than a year.
It is possible to be supported either individually or collectively.
We subsidise all sectors of activity and all sizes of company.
Step 5: Communicate your progress
If you would like to publicise your commitment to ACT Step by Step, consider the recognition system.
The recognition system will enable your ACT Step by Step approach to be publicly recognised following a critical review by a third party and in accordance with an audit procedure established by ADEME.
It was tested with several companies in the first half of 2024, but is not yet open to all.
À terme, ce service permettra à votre entreprise de communiquer sur sa démarche de construction de stratégie de décarbonation, valoriser le travail réalisé au cours de la démarche ACT Pas-à-Pas et ainsi bénéficier pleinement de la mise en œuvre de la méthode.

Stage 2: acquiring licences to use the tools
A demonstration of the tools will be given during the training sessions. However, if you wish to support a company in developing their transition plan through ACT Step by Step, you will need the appropriate tools and licences.
