ACT Evaluation
Evaluating your strategy

From objectives to actions and promotion

Have you developed a climate strategy and would like to evaluate it to check that it is coherent, relevant and aligned with the objectives set by the Paris agreements? Evaluate your transition plan with ACT Evaluation, whatever your sector of activity.

The strength of the ACT initiative is that it takes a holistic approach to assessing a company’s ability to become part of a low-carbon economy. It compares the ambition of the company’s climate strategy against relevant low-carbon benchmarks, as well as the actions the company is taking in response to that strategy. UNDERSTANDING THE PROCESS

You can now consult the ACT assessment methodologies and understand how the specific sector indicators for your company are calculated. If you would like to learn more about the development of these methodologies, you can consult the ACT Framework and Guidelines. The boundaries of the ACT methodologies for a given sector are determined by the sector’s most significant emission sources, in accordance with the principle of relevance. These significant emission sources can be located throughout the organization’s value chain. This means that both direct and indirect (value chain-related) emissions must be included where relevant. The methodologies can be downloaded from Resources / ACT Methodologies. ACT currently covers sectors with high climate impacts. If you are unsure which methodology applies to your business or would like to learn more about the development of ACT’s industry-specific methodologies, please contact us.
