Public Consultation ACT Step by Step Finance

ACT Pas à Pas is a methodology developed by ADEME that aims to support companies in building an ambitious decarbonisation strategy and associated transition plan, with the goal of contributing to carbon neutrality by 2050.

Initially intended for businesses, the methodology was adapted to the finance sector, notably with the assistance of PSBL for the retail banking profile.

In order to ensure the robustness of this first version of the adapted methodology, ADEME is launching a public consultation to gather feedback from financial institutions, consulting firms and, more broadly, anyone interested in sharing their remarks, comments and contributions.

All the information needed to understand the methodology and respond to this consultation, including an Excel file for collecting feedback, is available via the buttons above.

This consultation is open until 28 February 2026 (11:59 p.m.). Feedback should be sent by email to the following addresses: stanislas.ray@ademe.fr, sophie.proust@ademe.fr, simon.allain@ademe.fr.

In addition, a webinar presenting the method, including an overview of the general framework, feedback and a discussion session, will take place on 21 January at 11 a.m. in the presence of ADEME and PSBL, as part of the Virtual Climate Summit.
