The ACT Initiative is expanding its international deployment by delegating the local implementation of the Initiative to trusted partner organizations. This approach aims to adapt the deployment of transition plan methodologies to local market needs and contexts, while strengthening the capacity of companies and economic actors to engage in robust climate transition strategies.

In Italy, ACT has entrusted the launch and coordination of the Initiative to Aequilibria, a consultancy specialized in sustainability and climate transition. As the official representative of the Initiative in the country, Aequilibria is responsible for promoting ACT methodologies (Step-by-Step, Assessment, Mitigation, Adaptation and Biodiversity), training consulting firms and climate experts wishing to become ACT Advisors, and supporting Italian companies that wish to engage in the ACT approach.
Aequilibria acts as the national point of contact for ACT in Italy, answering questions related to the Initiative, liaising with ACT’s international governance, and coordinating local activities to foster the development and adoption of credible climate transition plans among Italian businesses.

ACT is pleased to partner with Aequilibria, organizer of the Padova Climate Action Week, part of the growing global network of Climate Action Weeks that connect local initiatives with international climate dialogue. Taking place in Padova from 11 to 19 April 2026, this nine-day event brings together companies, financial institutions, researchers, and policymakers to accelerate climate action in Italy while contributing to the broader global momentum for climate transition.
