The analysis was carried out at the Nexity Group level using the Property Developer methodology to assess development activities.
Nexity Services was not assessed, nor were development activities or activities at the territorial level.
The percentage of the assessment not rated due to lack of data is 38%.
This involves data on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and intensity targets detailed by emission item (energy, materials), building type (new, renovation) and type of use (residential, tertiary, etc.). Nexity's performance rating reflects strengths and areas for improvement.
Strengths:
- Nexity has defined its low-carbon trajectory aligned with SBTi 1.5°C with a target of reducing scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 47% between 2019 and 2030.
A scope 3 promotion trajectory (energy and materials) has been defined in carbon intensity with a target of 42% reduction between 2019 and 2030.

- Climate issues are fully integrated into the company's governance: validation at the highest levels, setting of objectives with quantitative and qualitative monitoring indicators, remuneration policy.

- The engagement policy on the downstream value chain is ambitious and consistent
- within the framework of Nexity Services, the offers proposed aim to engage the client in reducing its GHG emissions. Areas for improvement:
- Nexity could publish more details on the evolution of the company's low-carbon business models in order to ensure that the company is anchored in a more sustainable economy.
In this respect, the company could provide prospective elements, detailed scenarios in order to ensure consistency with the trajectory 2030.

- The company could also calculate its locked-in emissions that will occur following investment or work choices that are made today as well as carry out an analysis of climate-related risks.

- Finally, the Group is encouraged to clarify its engagement policy on its value chain, particularly upstream, in order to influence the reduction of GHG emissions.
